1. Product and Design Variation

Innovega Founder Series Smart Glasses are a product currently under development. The images, descriptions, and specifications of the product on this page are based on a preliminary design or prototype. The product is offered on an ‘as-is, where-is’ basis at this stage of development, with the understanding that final specifications are subject to change. The final manufactured product may differ slightly in appearance, dimensions, or features due to the manufacturing process and ongoing product development. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the design without prior notice, provided the core functionality remains consistent with the original description.

2. Pre-Order Nature of Purchase

Founder Series orders constitute a pre-order for a future product and do not represent the purchase of an existing, finished good. Estimated delivery timelines, including the currently anticipated shipment delivery date by Q2 2027 are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery timing may be affected by factors including, but not limited to, engineering development, manufacturing capacity, component availability, regulatory considerations, logistics, and other unforeseen circumstances. We make no guarantees or promises regarding the exact delivery date and are not responsible for any unexpected outcomes or issues arising from delays.

Innovega offers an optional 6-month payment plan for the Founder Series at a total of $3,150 ($525 per month for 6 months). The payment plan costs 6.7% more than the one-time payment price of $2,950 to cover payment processing fees, administrative costs, and the additional risk of offering extended terms.

3. Payment Plan Option

Innovega offers an optional 6-month installment payment plan for the Founder Series Smart Glasses. The total cost under the payment plan is $3,150, consisting of six payments of $525 each. This amount is 6.7% higher than the one-time payment price of $2,950 to account for payment processing fees, administrative costs, and the additional risk associated with extended payment terms.

Customers who select the payment plan will receive the same Founder Series benefits as those paying in full.

The first payment of $525 is charged at the time of checkout. The remaining five payments of $525 will be charged automatically on the same day each month for the next five months. All six payments must be successfully completed before the order is eligible to ship.

All amounts paid under the payment plan are 100% refundable if the pre-order is cancelled at any time prior to shipment. After delivery, the standard 30-day return window applies.

If any scheduled payment cannot be processed and remains unresolved after multiple attempts, Innovega reserves the right to suspend or cancel the pre-order. In such cases, the order will not ship until the full balance has been paid.

This payment plan is not a loan or third-party financing arrangement. It is an installment payment option offered directly by Innovega as a convenience for eligible early reservation customers.

4. Intended Use and Medical Disclaimer

Our Smart Glasses are built to help restore functional vision and independence by enhancing visual access. They are classified by the FDA as a Class 1 medical device (low-risk, no premarket approval needed). They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Individual experiences vary, and no specific outcomes or benefits are guaranteed. The suitability and effectiveness of the product depend on a user’s unique vision profile, environment, and manner of use.

5. Performance Expectations and Variability

Performance may vary significantly between users. Environmental conditions, lighting, motion, user preferences, and visual characteristics can affect the perceived benefit of the product.

Any demonstrations, testimonials, examples, or descriptions of user experiences represent individual cases and do not guarantee similar results for all users.

6. Fit, Comfort, and Use

Proper fit is important for comfort, wearability, and optimal performance. The Founder Series will be available in two sizes: Medium and Large. You do not need to choose a size at pre-order. Innovega will contact you closer to launch to confirm sizing and provide guidance on setup and adjustment prior to shipment.

At the time of pre-order, professional fitting is not provided. Buyer acknowledges online purchases lack professional fitting, and improper fit can cause discomfort. Buyer assumes responsibility for fit issues. You may consult your preferred optometrist for assistance with initial fitting and setup if desired. Users are responsible for using the product safely and in accordance with all provided instructions and warnings.

7. Technology Roadmap and Future Features

References to future features, software updates, or planned capabilities reflect development goals only and are subject to change. Innovega makes no guarantees regarding the inclusion, performance, or timing of future features or updates.

8. Connectivity, Device Compatibility, and Third-Party Dependencies

Functionality of the Innovega Founder Series Smart Glasses require a compatible Android smartphone (included with your Founder Series Package) and access to Innovega’s software. Future releases may require cloud-based services.

As part of the Founder Series, Innovega will provide a compatible Android smartphone configured to work with the glasses. Use with this provided device is the intended and supported configuration at launch.

While the glasses may function with other Android devices, compatibility, performance, and reliability with third-party smartphones or modified systems cannot be guaranteed. Innovega is not responsible for issues arising from the use of unsupported devices, operating system changes, software updates, network availability, or third-party services outside of Innovega’s control.

Apple (iOS) devices are not supported for the initial release.

9. Intellectual Property and Product Rights

All designs, software, systems, algorithms, and technologies associated with Innovega Smart Glasses are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. A preorder or purchase grants you the right to receive and use the product as intended upon shipment but does not convey any ownership interest, license, or rights to Innovega’s intellectual property beyond normal consumer use.

10. Warranties and Product Performance

Innovega’s Smart Glasses will be covered by a standard limited consumer electronics warranty, consistent with industry norms for wearable technology. This warranty is intended to cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a defined period following delivery.

Because the Founder Series is an early commercial release, final warranty terms are being aligned with manufacturing validation and supplier agreements. Full warranty details, including coverage scope and limitations, will be provided to customers prior to shipment.

Nothing in this disclosure limits any rights that may be required under applicable consumer protection laws. Customers will always have the option to cancel their preorder prior to shipment if the final warranty terms do not meet their expectations.

11. Sales Tax

For Founder Series pre-orders, no sales tax is charged at checkout for either the one-time payment or the 6-month payment plan. While Innovega will cover applicable sales tax at the time of purchase, customers may still be responsible for any use tax, reporting obligations, or other taxes required by their local jurisdiction.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innovega shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the purchase, use, or inability to use the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Innovega’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the purchaser for the product.

13. Acknowledgment

By completing a Founder Series pre-order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these disclosures, including the terms of the optional payment plan if selected, the pre-order nature of the product, the absence of medical claims, the variability of results, and the estimated delivery timeline. You fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibilities for losses, costs, and damages that you may incur as a result of your pre-order and eventual use of the product, including potential variations or delays.

No prescription or diagnosis is required to place a preorder.

Innovega Smart Glasses work on their own for many users. For those who benefit from prescription correction, the frames are designed to easily accept clip-in prescription lenses, which can be made by your optometrist using our add-on frames. You may also wear your own contact lenses if you prefer. Both options are completely optional.

No. The Smart Glasses work on their own and do not require contact lenses.

Some users may choose to wear their existing contact lenses if they already do, but contact lenses are completely optional and not required to use or benefit from the glasses.

Styles: The Founder Series launches with one thoughtfully designed frame style that looks good on a wide range of face shapes. Additional styles will be introduced in future releases.

Sizes: The glasses come in two sizes to accommodate different eye spacing and head sizes. You do not need to choose a size today. We’ll contact you closer to launch to confirm sizing. (Please note that the glasses may not fit individuals with very small head sizes or young children, typically IPD in the low 50s.)

Yes. The glasses are lightweight and designed for all-day comfort.

You can turn the display on or off at any time, so most users won’t have the screen active continuously. When the display is in use, expected screen-on time is up to 4 hours with the external battery. Turning the display off when not needed helps conserve power and extend overall use throughout the day.

Yes. Innovega Smart Glasses pair with an Android smartphone, which provides processing power, controls, and connectivity. For the Founder Series, all members will receive a compatible Android phone as part of their package.

No data plan is required for all the core features. If we add AI features, data backup, or other cloud-connected options in the future, those will need a data plan.

iPhone (iOS) compatibility is not expected for the initial launch.

The glasses are water-resistant, but not waterproof. An official IP rating has not yet been finalized. They are expected to handle light rain and sweat, but should not be submerged in water.

The Founder Series Smart Glasses will include a standard one-year limited warranty, consistent with consumer electronics industry norms. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or improper handling (e.g., water immersion, crushing).

Because the Founder Series is an early release, final warranty details will be confirmed as manufacturing validation is completed. Full warranty terms will be shared prior to shipment, and you will always have the option to cancel before delivery if the warranty terms do not meet your expectations.

Insurance coverage is not available for the Founder Series at launch. We are actively exploring insurance and health reimbursement pathways for future releases.

Founder Series members will receive regular updates on product development, manufacturing milestones, and launch timing. Some members may also be invited to participate in feedback or testing programs as the product approaches release.

Innovega will cover all applicable sales tax on your behalf at checkout. Depending on your location, you may still have independent tax reporting obligations under local regulations.
